Our Corporate and M&A Practice team has extensive experience in providing advisory, consulting, and transactional advice to multinational corporations, private and public-listed companies, investment banks and start-ups in a diverse range of industries in Malaysia, ASEAN and across the APAC region.

We regularly act as counsel for cross-border transactions and proposed acquisitions of international companies with subsidiaries operating locally as well as acquisitions of local companies by international clients. We also provide comprehensive legal advice and services to local and foreign clients on, among others, general corporate and governance, foreign direct investments and corporate restructuring.

Our team possesses the industry experience and sectorial knowledge in private equity and venture capital transactions across the manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, pharmaceutical, luxury, oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications, and technology sectors, which allows us to advise, draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts in various sectors.

We provide clients with an evaluation of the commercial and legal risks, and advising on such concerns that are likely to affect deals. We also provide recommendations on the best means of tackling and managing such risks via compliance audits and legal due diligence exercises.

Our Commercial Practice team possesses the sector knowledge that is essential to the drafting and negotiation of contracts and other agreements aimed at managing risks.

Working alongside our clients consisting of notable names in FMCG, retail, technology, financial services, and investment groups has given us the experience and capability to advise clients on a wide range of agreements and contracts.

We provide clients with an evaluation of the commercial and legal risks and concerns, provide advice on the risks and concerns that will likely affect deals, and provide recommendations on the best means of tackling those risks.
