Congratulations to our partner Brian Law, co-head of Intellectual Property practice group. He is ranked as a “Trade mark star – Malaysia” in the fields of Designs, Patent strategy and counselling; Trademark strategy and counselling by Managing Intellectual Property – IP Stars 2019.

Brian is experienced in advising on all aspects of IP matters across South East Asia from commercial advisory and prosecution of trademarks, patents and designs, to complex IP litigation and enforcement matters. Brian has immense experience in IP Litigation and had secured several landmark decisions involving IP dispute cases in Malaysia. He has represented clients in highly contentious trade mark, patent and copyright infringement suits. He is regularly called upon to advise clients on commercial IP protection strategies. He is also highly experienced in advising on commercialising and licensing of IP assets in corporate transactions and technology transfers. He has spearheaded some of the most prominent IP enforcement work in Malaysia. Brian is known to his client for his innovative thinking.
