White-Collar Crimes and Corporate Investigations

Our white-collar crime and corporate investigations (WCCI) practice group has broad and demonstrated experience in providing regulatory advice and investigation services to corporate clients from various sectors, including financial services, international logistics, FMCG, healthcare, and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT).

We are well-versed in advising our clients on regulatory compliance and implementation of internal policies and procedures, mainly on financial and capital markets regulation, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption rules and other commercial criminal regulations in the Asia-Pacific region.

We provide investigation services for corporate clients in allegations of fraud, employee misconduct, bribery or corruption and whistleblowing investigations. Upon completion of the investigation, we recommend the most appropriate and favourable course of action in managing our client’s legal, financial and reputational exposures.

We also have extensive experience conducting corporate legal and regulatory assessments to comply with regulations under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption and Commission Act 2009. We assist our clients with implementing their corporate compliance programmes from inception until implementation and monitoring. We work closely with local investigators, enforcement authorities, and customs officials to execute significant enforcement actions, such as raid actions against multiple targets across the region on behalf of our clients, both online and offline.
