The Movement Control Order (MCO) will take effect on Wednesday, 13th January till 26th January 2021, targeting some states (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Putrajaya, Labuan, Melaka, Johor, and Sabah) as announced on 11.1.2021 by our Prime Minister.
In Malaysia, the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) takes effect today through 31 August 2020. In line with that, we would like to notify you that we continue to conduct our business as usual, since we re-opened our office doors on 13 May 2020.
In Malaysia, the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) which was enforced by the Government of Malaysia is underway until 9 June 2020. However, pursuant to the Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s announcement on Labour Day, with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and necessary precautions, businesses may resume operations starting 13 May 2020.
In further efforts to fight the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, the Prime Minister of Malaysia announced this afternoon that the Movement Control Order (MCO) which was initially for the period between 18 March to 31 March 2020, would be extended to 14 April 2020.
